Double high: Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka sets new records with more than 200 exhibitors and 10,300 visitors

Marking steady increases to both exhibitor and visitor numbers, Kyushu’s leading beauty trade fair wrapped up three successful days of business at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A. Organised by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd, the 11th edition - held from 5 – 7 February 2024 - welcomed 10,356 industry visitors, a 12% increase on the previous year’s total (2023: 9,249 visitors). 2024’s visitor numbers set thus a new milestone – the first time, the total exceeded 10,000.

Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka confirms record high exhibitor attendance for upcoming February fair

Fukuoka, 15 December 2023. As it continues to grow, the largest B2B event for the beauty industry in the Kyushu region has already attracted more exhibitors than ever before and is gearing up to welcome over 12,000 visitors from across the region. From 5 – 7 February 2024 the fair, organised by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd, will showcase the most innovative beauty branded products and techniques while providing valuable business opportunities to retail buyers and professionals from the industry. The 11th edition of the established beauty trade fair comes up with a new dedicated ‘Hair’ zone as a response to increasing demand. New brands in the Kyushu region and trade fair first-timers are showcased at the ‘NEXT’ area.

The 10th edition of Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka attracts 9,243 visitors – a new high

Held for the first time across an extended three-day period, the leading beauty event in the Kyushu region closed with tremendous success on 8 February at the Marine Messe Fukuoka. Reflecting the thriving cosmetics and cosmetic services industries in the region, new records were set all round, with the fair welcoming 192 exhibitors (2022: 126 exhibitors) and 9,243 professional visitors (2022: 4,213 visitors), up 52% and a 119% respectively compared to the previous edition.

Largest and longest Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary

Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka is preparing for its 10th anniversary edition, taking place from 6 – 8 February 2023. In response to its growing popularity, the fair will be extended from two days to three and move to a larger venue, the Marine Messe Fukuoka. 186 exhibitors have signed up as of 23 December – a 47% increase compared to the last edition. On the back of this increase, expectations for the fair are high as the industry prepares for the opening of the milestone edition.

Final report: Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka connects buyers from the Kyushu region with every segment of the beauty industry

The 9th edition of Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka, the leading beauty event in the Kyushu region, closed its doors on a high note on 8 February after welcoming 126 exhibitors (2021: 122 exhibitors) to the Fukuoka Kokusai Centre. The fair once again achieved year-on-year growth in exhibitor numbers, with suppliers presenting the latest beauty products, services, techniques and information to the local industry. The two-day fair also cemented its standing as the best place for exhibitors to meet serious local buyers, attracting 4,195 professional visitors from all over the Kyushu region.
